Lucky Cheng's

Lucky Cheng's is a beloved drag cabaret that has been part of New York City's vibrant nightlife since it opened in 1993. Originally located in the East Village, this iconic venue is known for its lively atmosphere, featuring talented drag queens as waitstaff and performers. It gained fame in the mid-90s, even appearing in an episode of Sex and the City, where it became a go-to spot for bachelorette parties. Although it closed its original location due to rising rents in 2014, Lucky Cheng's has found a new home in a speakeasy-style venue called The Secret Room near Times Square.
