Village Revival Records

We are highlighting Village Revival Records, one of the best independent record stores in New York City where you can get every special vinyl RSD release including all the popular releases as well as ones produced in limited numbers. @villagerevivalrecordsnyc on Bleecker Street was founded over 33 years ago by Jamal Alnasr, who not only has an amazing collection of new and used vinyl records but also stocks cds and DVDs in his shop. Last year on Record Store Day, we scored a copy of Blondie’s Sunday Girl 7” RSD release and were also lucky enough to meet and speak with Steve Rosenthal swipe left for 2nd photo who mixed the “Sunday Girl” demo and is one of the executive producers of the limited edition @blondieofficial EP. You never know who you may run into in this humble shop, as many musicians and celebrities including Rosalia, Lana Del Ray, Dave Davis the trombonist of the Sun Ra Arkestra and @bellahadid are devoted customers.
